With this rear carrier polyurethane bushing you will find measurable differences from rubber like shifter insertion to a more solid and satisfying gear selection. This rubber like sensation comes from the lack of structure in the current carrier installed on the G8X platform. Our product aims to reuse the carrier but fills in the gaps and mitigating flex during shifter operation. This product was designed and made in the USA.

BMW G8X 6MT M3 / M4 Polyurethane Rear Carrier Bushings
The installation of our product is easy. Locate the carrier that is being held in by 2 star fasteners while easier you should not have to remove the heat shield. Once removed cut out the original bushing from the bracket but leave the rubber side wall. Press the polyurethane bushings into the bracket (We recommend using a press for ease of installation).
